Heal a Mother’s Heart

Join our international effort to support Ukrainian mothers who have lost their children to war and are living with unimaginable grief.

Together, we can help these women take one step at a time along the difficult path of bereavement — so that one day, they may find space in their hearts for healing, and hope.

About the Campaign

Heal a Mother’s Heart is a campaign raising awareness and funds to help mothers navigate grief and find healing after loss.

Professional psychological support and the care of others help ease the sharpest pain and guide women through their darkest moments. With the help of trained specialists, mothers begin to rediscover hope, find new purpose, and gently turn grief into remembrance, love, and healing.

GOAL: To create a safe space for experiencing grief, healing, and returning to life by combining two mutually reinforcing elements: building a network of grief support specialists and offering psychological and recreational programs for women in Ukraine who have lost loved ones to the war.

War is Brutal. A Mother’s Grief is Endless. Children are killed by enemy missiles while playing in playgrounds or walking to school.

Countless brave young soldiers have laid down their lives in defense of their homeland, standing for freedom and democracy. The agony of not knowing suffocates the families of those still missing or held in captivity.

About Us

Maple Hope Foundation is a volunteer-driven nonprofit founded by Ukrainians in Vancouver, Canada, in 2014. Since its inception, the Foundation has been committed to addressing the devastating impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Following the full-scale invasion, our efforts have grown significantly — from supporting displaced Ukrainians in Canada to delivering vital medical equipment and even a medical evacuation helicopter to those in need.

Today, one of our central missions is providing mental health support, with a special focus on women and youth living through the trauma of war.
